The Borough of Princeton is committed to planning, coordinating and implementing programs and services which enhance, protect and promote the quality of life of all those who live, work and share in Princeton.
Governed by a Mayor and six-member Borough Council the Borough of Princeton is located in Mercer County and is part of the 12th Congressional District and 15th Legislative District. Covering 1.76 square miles it has a population of 13,578residents.
The Borough of Princeton has various shared municipal services with neighboring Princeton Township, including the newly built Princeton Public Library, a Regional Health Department, Animal Control Services, a Regional Planning Board, Sewer Operating Committee, Recreation Department and Princeton Regional Schools.
A destination city, Princeton Borough has many visitors to its historical and cultural sites, premier shops and restaurants, Princeton University campus and Tony-Award winning theater.
