The Borough Administrator

The Borough Council may, by ordinance, delegate all or a portion of the executive responsibilities of the municipality to an Administrator. The day-to-day operations of the Borough are managed by the Borough Administrator, who is the chief administrative officer and heads a workforce of approximately 150 employees. The Borough Administrator is appointed by the Mayor and Council and carries out the Council’s goals, objectives and directives. All Borough departments report to the Administrator who is responsible for operations and management, interdepartmental coordination, budget planning, and the procurement of goods and services necessary to the Borough’s operations. The following departments report directly to the Borough Administrator: Administration, Affordable Housing, Assessor, Clerk, Construction Code Official, Court, Engineering, Finance/Tax Collection, Fire Safety & Housing Inspection, Health and Animal Control, Parking, Police, Public Works, Sewer Operations and Zoning. |
