Detective Adam Basatemur Detective Adam Basatemur, badge #120, has been with the department since January, 1998. He spent 10 years in the patrol division, where he was a field training officer, PR24-Baton, and OC spray instructor. Prior to working for the department, Det. Basatemur was an Officer with the Los Angeles Police Department for two years. Det. Basatemur was chosen the 2005 Officer of the Year. Det. Basatemur has an associates degree from Mercer County Community College. |

Patrol Officer Christopher Tash Patrol Officer Christopher Tash, Badge #124, has been a member of the Princeton Borough Police Department since January 2000. Ptl. Tash is currently assigned to the patrol division. Ptl. Tash spent two years in the Detective Bureau. He is a Field Training Officer for new officers and received counter sniper training. Additionally, Ptl. Tash is certified by the U.S. Department of Justice as a Community Policing Officer. Prior to joining the department, he was a State Investigator with the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and Master of Administrative Science degree from Farleigh Dickinson University in December 2005. Detective Travis Allie Detective Travis Allie, Badge #127, has been a member of the department since January 2001. He is currently assigned to the Detective Bureau, and is the DARE Officer. While working in the patrol division, Det. Allie was a field training officer. |

Patrol Officer Wayne A. Bender Patrol Officer Wayne Bender badge #131, has been a member of the department since 2002. Ptl W. Bender is a certified Emergency Medical Technician, Field Training Officer, Drug Recognition Expert, Active Shooter Instructor, Firearms Instructor and a trained counter-sniper with the F.B.I. Ptl. W. Bender is currently assigned to the patrol division after spending a year as a Detective. Prior to joining the department, Ptl. W. Bender worked with the Garwood Borough Police Department, and the Bernardsville Borough Police Department, where he was assigned to the Union and Somerset County SWAT teams. Ptl. W. Detective Courtney Heller Detective Courtney Heller, Badge #134, has been a member of the department since April 2003. She is currently assigned to the Detective Bureau. While working in the patrol division, Det. Heller was a field training officer. Prior to working for the department, Officer Heller worked as a Class II Officer for Washington Twp (Gloucester County). Navas spent three and a half years in the patrol division, and was chosen Officer of the Year for 2007. He is currently assigned to the Detective Bureau. Prior to working for Princeton Borough, Officer Navas worked as an Auxiliary Police Officer for Edison Police. Officer Navas received a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice from Kean University. Dodd worked as a Class II Officer for the towns of North Wildwood and Wildwood Crest. Ptl. Dodd has a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University. |
