Chief Anthony Federico

Chief Anthony Federico, Badge #83, was appointed Chief on February 1, 2005.  He has been a member of the Princeton Borough Police Dept. since January 1980.   Over his career, he has worked as a patrol officer, patrol sergeant and operations lieutenant and Captain. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Dayton in 1976 and he is a graduate of the 184th session of the FBI National Academy

Lieutenant David Dudeck

Lieutenant David Dudeck, Badge #90, has been a member of the Princeton Borough Police Department since October 1983. He has been a detective, juvenile officer, patrol officer, patrol sergeant and detective sergeant. He is currently the departments Operations Lieutenant.  Lt. Dudeck received a bachelor’s degree from Trenton State College and has attended graduate courses at Seton Hall University.  Lt. Dudeck has coached varsity high school football in the community for 17 years and is currently the head football coach at the Hun School of Princeton.

Lieutenant Nicholas Sutter

Lt. Nicholas Sutter, Badge #117, has been with the Princeton Borough Police Department since 1995.  He currently serves as the department’s Administrative Lieutenant.  He has been a patrolman, patrol sergeant and detective sergeant prior to his promotion to lieutenant. Lt. Sutter is a graduate of The West Point Command and Leadership Program, and the FBI National Academy Lt. Sutter is both a firearms, special weapons, and PR24 instructor for the department.  He received his bachelor's degree from  Kean College in 1993.  Lt. Sutter is enrolled in the master’s program at Fairleigh Dickinson University.  Lt. Sutter was chosen Officer of the Year for 1997.

Lieutenant  Sharon Papp

Lieutenant Sharon Papp, Badge #112, has been a member of the Princeton Borough Police Department since August 1993.  She was promoted to Lieutenant in January of 2007 and was the first female Sgt. and Lt. in the history of the department.  She is currently in charge of the patrol division.  Lt. Papp was chosen Officer of the Year in 1996.  Lt. Papp previously worked in the Safe Neighborhood Unit, and as a Field Training Officer for new officers. She previously worked for the Mercer County Prosecutors Office as a Detective, and Mercer County Sheriffs Department as a Sheriff's Officer. Lt. Papp graduated from Seton Hall University with a Masters degree, Rider University with a Bachelors degree, and the Hun School of Princeton.  Lt. Papp is also a graduate of the West Point Command and Leadership Program.

Sergeant Robert Currier

Sgt. Robert Currier, Badge #93, has been a member of the Princeton Borough Police Department since June 1986. He is currently assigned as the Traffic Safety Unit supervisor.  He is a graduate of the West Point Command & Leadership School. Prior to becoming an officer, Sgt. Currier was a Military Police Officer with the U.S. Air Force for 4 years. He is one of only three officers to have been awarded the departments Medal of Honor.

Detective Sergeant Christopher Quaste

Det. Sgt. Christopher Quaste, Badge #103, has been a member of the department since April 1988.  He is the departments radar instructor, a firearms instructor, a field training officer for new officers, received tactical response and counter-sniper training, and is an advanced accident investigator.  After serving as a Detective for 2 1/2 years, he was assigned as a Patrol Sergeant for 3 years.  He is currently the supervisor for the four-officer Detective Bureau.  He was a member of the Safe Neighborhood Unit and was Officer of the year in 1994. Prior to working for the department, Det. Sgt. Quaste spent four years in the U.S. Air Force as a military police officer.

Sergeant Steve Riccitello

Sgt. Steve Riccitello, Badge #98, has been with the Princeton Borough Police Department since September 1986. During his career he has been given many special assignments. They include patrol, D.A.R.E. and Adopt-a-cop programs, bicycle patrol, heading the Safe Streets program, instructing shoplifting prevention seminars for the Princeton area merchants, and many more.  In 1993, he was chosen "Officer of the Year". Currently, Officer Riccitello is a Sergeant with the Patrol Division.  Prior to working for the dept., Officer Riccitello earned a bachelor of fine arts degree from the School of Visual Arts in N.Y.C.

Sergeant Kevin Creegan

Sergeant Kevin Creegan, Badge #105, was originally hired as a civilian dispatcher in November 1987 and then he became a Patrol Officer in January 1989.  He spent several years in the detective bureau before he was promoted to Sergeant in October 2005.  He is currently assigned to the Patrol Division and is in charge of a squad of patrol officers.  Sgt. Creegan is a field training officer for new officers, and is one of the four officers on the department who are certified E.M.T.’s. He has received training in tactical response and was a 911 dispatcher. Sgt. Creegan was chosen Officer of the Year for 2004.  He has a Bachelors Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Sergeant Kenneth Riley

Sergeant Kenneth Riley, Badge #109, has been a member of the department since January 1991.  Det. Riley spent several years in the patrol division and several years in the Safe Neighborhood Unit, as well as a year in the Detective Bureau. Sgt. Riley has run the departments "adopt-a-cop" and D.A.R.E. programs. Prior to working for the department, Sgt. Riley received his Bachelors degree in history from Glassboro State College.  He has a Masters  Degree in education from Seton Hall University.  Sgt. Riley was chosen Officer of the Year for 2000.

Sergeant Jon Bucchere

Sergeant Jon Bucchere, Badge #123, has been a member of the department since December, 1999.  Sgt. Bucchere spent time in the patrol division,  Safe Neighborhood Unit for 1 1/2 years, and then to the Detective Bureau. While in the patrol division, he was a a field training officer for new officers.  Sgt. Bucchere was also a  D.A.R.E. instructor.  Sgt. Bucchere is currently assigned to the patrol division.  Sgt. Bucchere has a Bachelor of Science degree from The College of New Jersey in Law & Justice.  In 2003, he was chosen the  Officer of the Year.

Acting Sergeant/Detective Michael Bender

Detective Michael Bender, Badge #104, has been a member of the department since June 1988.  He spent 11 years in the patrol division, where he was a field training officer for new officers, five years in the Safe Neighborhood Unit, and four years in the Detective Bureau.  He is currently assigned to the Patrol Division   In 1998, he was chosen "Officer of the Year".  He also designed and built this web site.  Detective Bender received his bachelor's degree from Roger Williams University in 1987.

Patrol Officer James Martinez

Patrol Officer James Martinez, Badge #114, has been a member of the department since January 1994. He is currently assigned to the patrol division. Officer Martinez received his bachelors degree from Rutgers University in 1994. He also spent 4 years with the U.S. Marine Corps (reserves) as a squad leader in the Infantry (0311).
