Princeton Borough Police Department

Motorcycle Unit

The Princeton Borough Police Department hasn't had a motorcycle patrol since the 1960's.  In July of 2006, the Princeton Borough Police Department took delivery of a 2006 Harley Davidson Road King.  This vehicle is used to supplement regular patrol, and is used as a patrol vehicle.  Officers William Perez and Merv Arana were both trained by the Philadelphia Highway Patrol to operate this vehicle, which is in the regular patrol rotation. This vehicle is equipped with a handheld radar unit, as well as all emergency equipment needed. The cycle was paid for with forfeiture funds through the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office.
