January 15, 2012

 

Hindering Apprehension/Tampering with Public Records, on Nassau St., at 0147 hrs., the accused, Kelsey Reed, 19, of Titusville, called 9-1-1 from her cell phone at the Ivy Inn reporting that a bouncer at the bar would not return her New Jersey Drivers License she gave him for age verification.  Investigation at the scene revealed that the identification that she had presented was not hers and that she was only 19 yoa.  She was placed under arrest, processed and released.

 

January 14, 2012

 

DWI Arrest, on William St., at 0050 hrs., subsequent to a motor vehicle stop for having an inoperable headlight, the accused, Patrick Deifik, 24, of Princeton, was arrested for DWI.

 

January 13, 2012

 

DWI Arrest, on Nassau St., at 0145 hrs., subsequent to a motor vehicle stop for failing to observe a traffic signal, the accused, Nimit Bansal, 41, of Princeton, was arrested for DWI.

 

 

DWI Arrest, on Nassau St., at 0214 hrs., subsequent to a motor vehicle stop for driving the wrong way on a one way street (Spring St.), the accused, Ryan Tanghe, 24, of SC,

was arrested for DWI.

 

January 12, 2012

 

Possession of Marijuana (under 50 grams), on Greenview Ave., at 0214 hrs., the accused, Jose Wahlung, 39, of Princeton, was stopped after operating his bicycle in a hazardous manner in the lane of motor vehicle traffic on Wiggins Street.  He was subsequently found to be in possession of marijuana.

Eluding (third degree), Obstructing the Administration of Law and Disorderly Conduct, on Route 206, at 1002 hrs., the accused, Allsion Daniels, 32, of Lawrence, was stopped in her motor vehicle on rt. 206 near Ferrand Rd. for operating a vehicle with an expired registration.  During the motor vehicle stop the accused refused to produce any documentation when requested by the officer.  During the investigation, the accused exited her vehicle and charged the officer’s vehicle while screaming obscenities at him.  As the officer exited his vehicle, the accused returned to her vehicle and fled the scene.  The officer briefly pursued the vehicle southbound on Rt. 206 to Lawrence Township.  The accused refused to stop her vehicle.  Lawrence Township was notified and assisted in the investigation. Princeton Borough patrols and Detectives responded to the accused’s residence along with Lawrence PD.  She was located and arrested at the residence where she was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia, a marijuana pipe.  She was processed by Lawrence Township Police prior to being released to the custody of the Princeton Borough Police Department.  She was charged in Princeton Borough with numerous motor vehicle violations as well as criminal charges including Eluding, Obstructing the Administration of Law and Disorderly Conduct.

 

January 2, 2012

 

Possession of CDS, Hindering Apprehension, Contempt of Court, at Park Place Lot, at 2021 hrs., while investigating a vehicle with a fictitious handicap parking placard patrols encountered the driver of the vehicle, John Chmielewski, 51, of Lawrence.  Investigation determined that he had driven with a suspended driver’s license and that he was wanted on over $4,000 in active warrants from Trenton and Mansfield Twsp.  Subsequent to his arrest he was found in possession of thirteen illegally obtained Vicodin pills. During the investigation the accused provided false information to the investigating officer with regard to his identity.  He was arrested and released on bail. 

 

December 30, 2011

 

Contempt of Court, Witherspoon St., at 0741 hrs., subsequent to a motor vehicle stop for driving an unregistered vehicle, the accused, Melanie Carmichael-Livingston, 24, of Trenton, was arrested on an active Trenton motor vehicle warrant in the amount of $713.  She was released on bail.

Contempt of Court, on Harrison St., at 2056 hrs., subsequent to a motor vehicle stop for failure to maintain lamps, the accused, Dominick R. Commiso, 44, of Princeton, was arrested on an active Lawrence Township warrant in the amount of $81.00  

 

December 25, 2011

 

Simple Assault, Contempt of Court, on 12/25/11 at 0125 hrs., the accused, Jesse Carter, 30, of Princeton, was arrested when he pushed the victim’s head into the front passenger side window of his vehicle, while seated in the front passenger seat of his vehicle.   The victim suffered a contusion to the forehead.  Carter also had an active warrant out of Lawrence Municipal Court in the amount of $120 for a careless driving summons. 

 

December 23, 2011

 

DWI Arrest, on University Place, at 1827 hrs., a motorist was driving behind the accused, Anne Bakoulis’s, vehicle and telephoned police headquarters believing Bakoulis, 47, of Princeton, was driving drunk.  Bakoulis failed to keep right and struck a curb while driving. Subsequent to a motor vehicle stop, Bakoulis was arrested for DWI.
