Among its administrative and review functions, oversees the building and zoning permit applications, zoning code enforcement, related site plan review and processing and review of development applications and inspections, sign permits.

Affordable Housing

The Borough of Princeton Affordable Housing Program administers the Borough's Affordable Housing Program. The Borough offers low, and moderate- income units for sale, resale and rent. The program also offers a limited number middle-income units for sale that are affordable to households earning between 80 and 200% of the regional median income. The qualification of applicants is handled by the Somerset County Coalition on Affordable Housing (SCCOAH), who have been contracted to serve as the Borough's Administrative Agent.

The Borough Of Princeton Affordable Housing Program also offers a housing rehabilitation program to qualified low and moderate-income households. Please contact 609-497-7634 for details.

Please note that under COAH guidelines the Borough of Princeton offers no guarantee or representation of unit availability for every applicant. An applicant's household income must fall within specific regional guidelines in order to be eligible for Affordable Housing
